The College Internship Program (CIP) hosts a number of yearly events including educational training sessions on Asperger's and Learning Differences curriculum, career planning and open houses.

Come explore the many opportunities the College Internship Program at the Bloomington Center has to offer. At CIP, students benefit from both a college and a career track and receive the social, academic, career and life skills necessary to be successful.

Join us for a special presentation by Karen Thomas, Bloomington Center Program Director, and open panel discussion with staff, guided tour of the facilities and Q&A. Lunch will be provided.

Help others start planning now for their futures by extending this invitation to students, parents, and professionals that might benefit from hearing more about CIP’s program and unique curriculum.

*Please be on time as we will begin the presentation at 11am sharp. If you are unable to attend a private tour can be arranged.

Understanding the Postsecondary Needs of Students with ASD
San Rafael, California
Dr. McManmon, international speaker and founder of the College Internship Program, will discuss the social, academic, career and executive functioning needs of college-age students with Asperger's syndrome, high-functioning autism and PDD-NOS. He has an inside perspective as he himself was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.

Staff Training and Education

During his 35 years of experience with LD and Asperger's students, Dr. Michael McManmon has worked on curriculum development, staff training, program evaluation and administering community based programming. He presents at professional conferences nationally and internationally. Founder of the College Internship Program, Dr. McManmon has a unique inside perspective as he himself is diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. Learn more
