The College Internship Program (CIP) hosts a number of yearly events including educational training sessions on Asperger's and Learning Differences curriculum, career planning and open houses.

You are invited to come explore the comprehensive college & career options available for young adults with Asperger’s syndrome, ADD and other learning differences at the Berkshire Center. Join us for a curriculum overview including a tour of the campus, staff and student panel and Q&A. Lunch will be provided.

This is a chance for all interested parties to learn about our comprehensive curriculum that has evolved over the past 25 years since CIP’s inception. Help others start planning now for their futures by extending this invitation to students, parents, professionals and others that may benefit from learning more. If you are unable to attend a private tour can be arranged.

The College Internship Program at the Berkeley Center is hosting an Open House & Information Session Luncheon for all interested parties. At CIP, students with learning differences benefit from both a college and a career instruction and receive the social, academic, career and life skills necessary to be successful. Also learn more about CIP's 2 week precollege Summer Program for teens ages 16-19.

Understanding the Postsecondary Needs of Students with ASD
San Rafael, California
Dr. McManmon, international speaker and founder of the College Internship Program, will discuss the social, academic, career and executive functioning needs of college-age students with Asperger's syndrome, high-functioning autism and PDD-NOS. He has an inside perspective as he himself was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.

Staff Training and Education

During his 35 years of experience with LD and Asperger's students, Dr. Michael McManmon has worked on curriculum development, staff training, program evaluation and administering community based programming. He presents at professional conferences nationally and internationally. Founder of the College Internship Program, Dr. McManmon has a unique inside perspective as he himself is diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. Learn more
