Health & Wellness
Wellness Sessions
Wellness sessions are led by an experienced staff member who assists in creating balance through nutrition education, exercise, stress-reduction practices, sensory diets, and sleep regimens.
This is augmented by yoga, walking clubs, group workouts and many other techniques that address the student's wellbeing and interests. By meeting with the Wellness coordinator at least once a week students develop a personal fitness plan.
During Wellness sessions, students become aware of the importance of health and learn to integrate it into their thinking and daily lives. Students may also have individual wellness mentoring sessions if needed.
