Optional Spring Break Trip
Students enrolled in CIP's year-round program have the option of attending a fun and educational travel program one week a year during the college spring break in March.
Students prepare for this trip through a series of class meetings in which they study the language, arts, culture and trip itinerary. Each year an exciting new world destination is chosen and students get a cultural experience they will never forget with staff and their peers.
Part of the spring break experience is participating in community service in the area being visited. Besides assisting those in need, this experience instills leadership and develops character.
Spring break is an excellent opportunity for students to travel and broaden their horizons in a safe, supervised atmosphere.
Past Spring Break trips include:
- England
- Ireland
- Italy
- The Caribbean
- France
- Mexico
- Spain
- Ecuador
- Greece
- The Galapagos Islands
- Chile
- Belize
- Punta Canta
- Canada
- Chicago
- Washington D.C.
"Thank You for inviting me on the Spring Break trip. What a wonderful time. It was more fun than I could have imagined. Maragret (Markham) and Jan were a pleasure, and I was SO impressed with each and every student I met. Everything was so perfect from the tours to the city but mainly the people on the trip. I was very lucky to be there and I will cherish my memories. So well done!"
