Brevard Center - Melbourne, FL
The majority of our students begin taking classes at Brevard Community College in Melbourne (www.brevardcc.edu), conveniently located across from CIP offices and housing. Within two to eight miles of CIP are: University of Central Florida (Cocoa Campus), Florida Institute of Technology, Warner Southern College, Keiser College, Barry University, Columbia College, Florida Metropolitan University, Webster University, and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Bloomington Center - Bloomington, IN
Both Indiana University (IU) and Ivy Tech campuses are easily accessible by bus, bicycle or by foot. Ivy Tech and IU have disability services that offer accommodations and information to students with Asperger’s, ADD and other learning differences. CIP staff assists students in accessing these supports. In the Bloomington area there are more than 500 student organizations that students can get involved in, from fitness and recreational activities to community service projects.
Berkshire Center - Lee, MA
Many students at the Berkshire Center attend classes at Berkshire Community College. Offering both associate degree and certificate programs, Berkshire Community College boasts one of the highest graduation rates in the state of Massachusetts. Mildred Elley Business School is also available in Pittsfield. ELMS College in Chicopee is a 4-year college option offering a variety of undergraduate, graduate and certificates of advanced graduate studies.
College Support Program (CSP) - Amherst, NY
The majority of CSP students enroll at either Daemen College or Erie Community College. Daemen College is a small private four-year college offering degrees in a variety of majors including a nationally recognized Physical Therapy program and a new animation major for 2011. Erie Community College offers more than 90 programs in the areas of Business and Public Service, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts and Engineering and Technologies. The University of Buffalo is a large SUNY center offering an exciting array of majors and fields of study. The UB South Campus is only minutes away from CSP. Other area colleges include Canisius College and Medaille College.
Berkeley Center - Berkeley, CA
The Berkeley Center is ideally located within a block of Berkeley City College and offers university transfer and occupational training classes, associate degree and certificate programs. Other colleges within a short distance are: Merritt College, College of Alameda, Laney College, Cal State East Bay and University of California at Berkeley.
Long Beach Center - Long Beach, CA
Coming August, 2011, the Long Beach Center will offer academic support at Cal State Long Beach and Long Beach City College. In addition, the greater LA area offers many small colleges and universities easily accessible by public transportation. The majority of students will utilize CIP's comprehensive support while attending Long Beach City College, which also provides a Disabled Students Program and Services (DSP&S).
