Career Program for Students Enrolled in College
Curriculum through CIP’s in-house classes and individual sessions provide instruction in:
- Self-presentation
- Communication skills
- Defining your interests
- Value clarification questionnaires

We practice the interview process, videotape mock employment interviews and provide constructive feedback. Job coaching is also available.
Internship placement is an important part of the college experience. Experienced and knowledgeable staff provide guidance and support in matching your interests with your abilities and in finding the appropriate internship sites.
As a student with an internship, you will also profit from meeting with other students for discussion and to share experiences, discover areas for improvement and share what’s been learned about themselves during the internship process.
Peter F. Gerhardt, Ed.D, Organization for Autism Research
"With unemployment and underemployment among adults on the autism spectrum hovering around 90% the critical importance of individually tailored employment development services cannot be overstated. Given the fact that having a job helps in the development of an adult identity, promotes self esteem, supports a growing social circle, and provides financial opportunities programs such as the Career and Employment Services of the College Internship Program are both necessary and welcome.”
