Attend College with Support: Asperger's, ADHD and other Learning Differences

CIP's full-year programs provide young adults with Asperger's, High-Functioning Autism, ADHD and other Learning Differences with the social, academic, career and life skills necessary for success.

CIP at a Glance
  • CIP students attend college and/or take part in career development classes along with comprehensive social, academic, career and life skills curriculum

  • Year-round programs located in Massachusetts, Florida, Indiana, California and New York

  • CIP curriculum is based on our Professional Advisory Board Members work and focuses on developing real-life skills in areas of social thinking, executive functioning, sensory integration and wellness

  • Actively involved in the direction of their lives, students create Person-Centered Plans focusing on short and long-term goal setting, developing self-advocacy skills and outlining the steps necessary for success

  • Residential apartment living supports include organization, planning and time management, food shopping, menu planning, cooking and cleaning instruction

  • Advisors work individually with students on banking and budgeting, weekly goal setting, self-assessments, personal advising and communication with parents

  • Nightly check-ins and 24/7 emergency on-call assistance from staff

Our Students
  • Documented diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome, high-functioning autism, PDD-NOS, ADHD, nonverbal learning disability, dyslexia or other learning differences

  • Low average to high intelligence

  • Emotional, behavioral, and psychological stability

  • High level of motivation to meet program goals

  • Potential to live and attend college or career program independently

  • Ages typically 18 to 26 years old

  • Typically socially naive

Summer Program

In addition to CIP's year-round programs, a 2 week Summer Program for teens 16-19 on several highly-rated college and university campuses in the US.
